VidaViva Ecofood produces dehydrated fruit from organic fruit grown in its agricultural areas on the island of La Palma, known as Isla Bonita for its diverse and beautiful landscapes and iconic places, and from this production and harvest the oranges are obtained.
The oranges are organically grown in our own fields in Tijarafe. The fields are very well located because they have very good altitude, ranging from 270 m to 800 m, which means that conditions in the growing areas are very good. Some time ago, a volcanic eruption on La Palma caused problems with our crops, but after it happened, the volcanic ash was used for our plantations. Because the ash is rich in nutrients, our plantations get plenty, and the island’s clean air, wonderful sunshine and natural mountains and water help our oranges improve and produce more efficiently.
The oranges are picked by hand and after cleaning and classification they go through a dehydration process, from which we obtain nutritious and healthy dehydrated oranges for cocktails.
