Origin

On the Isla Bonita, famous for its beautiful landscapes, the fruits that we at VidaViva Ecofood use to make our dried fruits are produced organically. Our fields are located in the town of Tijarafe and the plantations are located at different altitudes (from 270m to 800m), which makes the area where the plantations are located excellent for organic farming.

La Palma, like all the Canary Islands, is a volcanic island, so in 2021 a volcano erupted, affecting our plantations and crops. Volcanoes are harmful, but the ash they produce is rich in nutrients and very beneficial for plants, especially for our crops because thanks to these nutrients, the clean air of the island, the natural mountains and rivers and the wonderful sun, our production improves and the quality increases.

When the fruit is ready to be harvested, it is harvested by hand, followed by a dehydration process. After all these processes we obtain dehydrated fruits, including dehydrated bananas, which are then packaged and ready to enjoy.
