VidaViva Ecofood produces dried fruits from organic fruits grown in an agricultural area of the island of La Palma known as Isla Bonita with its diverse and beautiful landscapes and iconic places.
From this production and harvest we obtain many mandarins, which are grown organically in our own fields in Tijarafe. The fields are very well located because they have very good altitude, ranging from 270m to 800m, which means that conditions in the growing areas are very good.
Some time ago the eruption of a volcano on the island of La Palma caused problems in our crops, but after all the suffering, the ash was used in our plantations. Our plantations benefit greatly from the nutrient-rich ash, and the island’s clean air, glorious sunshine and natural mountains help our mandarins thrive and grow more efficiently. Mandarins are harvested by hand, cleaned, sorted and dehydrated to produce nutritious and healthy dehydrated mandarins for cocktails.
