Origin

VidaViva Ecofood produces dried fruits from organic fruits that are produced in one of the agricultural areas of the island of La Palma, known as Isla Bonita, with its diverse and beautiful landscapes and iconic places.

Most of the citrus fruits come from this organic production and harvesting in our own fields in Tijarafe. The fields are very well located because they have very good altitude, ranging from 270 m to 800 m, which makes the conditions in the growing areas very good.

Some time ago, a volcano erupted on La Palma and caused problems in our crops, but after all the suffering, the ashes were used in our plantations. Our orchards benefit from the nutrient-rich volcanic ash, clean island air, good sunlight and natural mountains help our citrus trees thrive and grow more efficiently. Lemons are harvested, cleaned, peeled, sorted and their skins are dehydrated to produce healthy and nutritious dehydrated lemon peel for use in desserts, cosmetic products, fish dishes, salads, etc.
